Most product analytics stop at the metric. They are privacy-invasive by default and silent on cause. A good analyst would then query, segment, compare, and look at what shipped. That second job is usually still a person with a notebook.

Query is built so the metric and the investigation share a model. It measures what people actually do, keeps what you need, and exposes the numbers through an interface an agent can question. Stack is the sibling when the question is not product usage but organisational data at large.

If you do not yet know whether the problem is instrumentation, investigation, or a process nobody owns, consulting is cheaper than another dashboard.
